How bout the male they sent my boy with ONE NUT, and REFUSED to make good on it? Is that stand up?

How bout the OBSCENE amount of litters they have a year? Right now alone they have 5 litters they are selling out of.. 5 breedings listed on their breeding page. And that is just RIGHT NOW.. they have a constant 4-5 litters on the ground at ALL TIMES..

Not to mention they have 40+ ADULT dogs... I don't know how many dogs you have ever cared for at one time, but 40 fucking dogs? Are you kidding me? lol Unless they have a full staff helping out, i dont know how the hell 40 dogs can get the proper attention, and care.. 40 adults, and probably 30-50 pups.....

Does that seem reasonable to you? From reading your other posts i thought you had good jusdgement, but if that seems legitimate to you, then i would have to question your judgment.

People can read these posts and come to their own conclusion.. It isn't a pack mentality, it is peoples opinions that just so happen to be negative for this breeder.

Anyone that can do that doesn't give a rats ass about these dogs, or their future. And PLEASE don't get biblical, because as a person of god(which i assume you are) you would think, you would value the well being of his creatures more then you seem to.

These are living animals, not shoes or other possessions in which you can just move in bulk. These dogs need good homes. I find it HARD to believe she is finding 1-200 GOOD homes a year for these dogs.

And, she didn't get those prices when we did business with her.

Yeah, not to mention all the ones she ponded off due to not producing enough. I don't exactly make a habit of going around doggin' people's kennels but if I have a bad experience with someone, I am going to call them on thier BS.

In thier video I noticed alot of thier dogs appeared to be uncomfortable, they had very poor movement and a few (including thier precious Bouncer) looked to have had some less than minor skin problems. I'm not a veteranarian so I won't attempt to self-diagnosis the problems but I'm sure they were genetic based.

I hope that more people will open their eyes to these greedy BYBs and puppymills and force them out of the game. If she sold crack, she wouldn't be any less of a person in my eyes, at least their customers would know they were getting f#@ked from the beginning.

Well, thanks CB once again for the heads up. Glad I asked. I know some peple may have hd some good dealing with them but any bad dealing will overcome the good ones to me. There is no excuse at all for shading over people. It's so easy to just be honest. It's the person choice not to be. But oh well. I been looking for a stud for Teka, I actually found one. Matches up perfect for her. Should be going down around Nov-Dec 2009 or Jan-Mar 2010. I really like Brixx for her but no matter how good the pedis may be or how bad ass the dogs may look or how he may out produce himself , which he did. If the kennels owner is shady, I won't deal with em. I been messed over so many times, lossed ALOT of money, no way I want to go through that again.

We done business with kim and have no complain. She have a lot of dog but she also hire people to take care of them. There a lot kennel that breed shit that should be around and no one say stuff about them. As far as you losing your deposit name one kennel that will refund that if you back out for what ever reason. Right now personal cause my program is going a different way I not buying any more pup from her. But if they got something we need I will buy it. Kim does a lot for the breed she is every show and prodvided founation for alot of kennel.

i really like tua, i think quake's death is fucking fishy... son dies before father.... plus biggie is not up there anymore. When u breed in high numbers, its hard to have everyone like you... but sincerely... i think some of the dogs they own are ridiculous. I think I'll wade in on this one.

I've known Kim for several years and she is one of the most stand up people in the dog world. I've met thousands of kennel owners and dog people from coast to coast, big names and no names. She ranks up there with the best She's more than willing share her knowledge with most anyone. Now I'm not saying she hasn't had disagreements with some people, but in any kind of business, you can't always please everybody, but I assure you there are more satisfied people out there than unsatisified.

She has produced 2 ABKC Champions, an ABKC Grand Champion, and has several dogs that are very close to making Champion. If she doesn't know what she's doing, how did she manage to do what no other kennel in the country has done. And she is a very voiceful proponent in the fight to save of bullies from BSL. She donates time and money to people that put on shows, sponsors jr handler competitions etc.

Genetic disaster-Chub Low had rickets when he was a pup, a not so uncommon condition in dogs. Yes it made his feet turn out. Other than that he is fit as a fiddle. He can and does run all day and is one of the most active dogs on our yard. He is one of the most pleasant dogs I've ever been around.

Bouncer is shown at shows year round and is seen by thousands of people. If he had some type of skin problem it would have been seen.

Her set up may not be the fanciest,(fancy doesn't impress me), but it is very functional and VERY clean.
Her dogs are very well taken care of, I've been to hundreds of kennels from Florida to Virginia and from Georgia to Texas and all inbetween and her's are among the most well cared for dogs I've seen.

As far as Quake's death being fishy. Dogs die, sometimes earlier than expected.
Here's the story about Quake.
Kim and Don finished taking care of the dogs around 4:30-5:00 and everything was fine. They went to Atlanta to take care of some personal business. While they were gone an afternoon thunderstorm came in. Quake would get very worked up whenever it thundered. When they returned later that night they went and checked on everyone and Quake was dead. End of story. So how is that fishy?

I normally don't post much on any board, but I saw a person that I KNOW is a good person getting bashed. I'm not saying that you or anyone else hasn't had problems with her. Like I said earlier, you cant please everyone all the time, but Kim is a stand up person and will do almost anything to help almost anyone, and I won't stand by and see a few people berate her.

Call her yourself, better yet go to her yard and make your own opinion.

Quake was very afraid of thunder, and would get very upset, running around jumping etc.
He got scared and ran around(remember this was the middle of the summer) until he had a heat stroke.

So technically, thunder didn't kill him. But it did cause him to get upset run around til he had a heatstroke.

I fixed my dogs.. I feel that is a pretty positive statement for our breed. I feel it will accomplish more, then going to a few meetings, and breeding my damn dogs, furthering the problem.

As far as Kim goes, her and Don are cool people. I didn't read through this thread. But I can say I never had any problems with her. I've been to her yard several times. To me she's really straigt up person with a yard full of real nice dogs.

My only question is how is she bettering the breed and which breed is she bettering? She still clings to the APBT name...which pisses me off considering I own APBTs. Clearly she knows the difference between the two seperated breeds when she competes in ABKC events. She also told me that she used to have gamebred APBTs at one point (I highly doubt that but whatever). You can't pump out all those litters in a single year and expect them all to go to good homes...not happening. She's a glorified puppy miller with a pretty big fan club obviously. "It's not like she's breeding mutts"......hahaha .......good one. That's exactly what she's breeding. The American Bully is a mixture of who only knows what....they pretty much are mutts unless you can provide proof that they came from AST/APBT crosses only. I won't hold my breath waiting , lol. Most people are fully aware that many different breeds were used to create the AmBully...where were you????

I met Kim and Don at the ATL Bully Palooza '09. They seem like nice people. I've followed kim's site for the past two years. And I have watch her breedings closely. There has been times when she's had breedings/prices posted totaling more than $250,000.00 with each puppy price ranging from $2500-$3500 (and that was on a consistant basis). I would say that this year has been the only time I've been to her site and seen less than 5 breedings posted AND at least 2 litters of puppies posted on the puppies page at the same time. Not to mention that she does in house breedings for herself and friends that she doesn't even post on her website.

Shortly (about 3 months) before Quake died she had him for sale for $15,000
00. And then he dies. That does sound fishy to me.

I will say that I like some of the breedings she does, but a lot of them, I don't. It seems that the pedigree has nothing to do with the way she breeds. It's mainly about the look of the parents. I think that both factors should be taken into consideration when doing a breeding. I do think she does to many breedings in a year.

I thought about doing a stud service with Brix but after reading this thread (it really put things in perspective), I think I'll take my female back to something directly off Mikes yard.
