It depends on the female. I like Tua, Kid Rock and i'm loving Brix. I been waiting on a breeding from Ice. They had one advertise and i was waiting for the pregnancy confirmation, but they took the breeding off so i guess it didn't work out. I know what I'm looking for an keeping my options open. I prefer Gotti with some Edge.

With what I here, Ultimate Blue Pit Bulls are really awesome people. One kennel on Guam has dealt with them and he has no complaints.

has anyone used their dogs for stud services via shipment? It is dirt cheap right now only 1k for any dog they have... Seems a little hard to believe... Anyone experience this with them??

They are a joke if you ask me. What justifies charging $3500 for a genetic disaster? They even brag about about them being freaks. I have seen their DVD and was not impressed. Plus Quake...whom they bred to death....literally died at 5 years....coming directly off thier foundation male Biggie. Boy, that says alot about thier quality of bullies or "APBTs" as they like to mislabel them. I like a nicely bred bully myself and wouldn't buy anything off a puppymill...and that's just what they are.

Don't get me wrong, they have a handful of decent bullies but they are leaning more towards the dwarfed style pocket pits. I liked Villian and a few of their dogs from their older stock. I have spoken to Kim and almost bought a dog from them but after getting dicked around several breedings later after not being able to produce my pick...I cancelled on them and got screwed out of a $600 deposit. I may be playing devil's advocate here but I just wanted to share my experience with them. They feed off of people that know nothing about this breed, the American Bully, by selling them as APBTs. Are they working quality? Do they have to be seperated like alot of gamebred lines of APBT? Do they meet ADBA/UKC conformation? ......not hardly.

This post wasn't directed towards you personally, BlueIllusions just so you know.

Which ones besides ChubLow have the genetic disaster. Do you know what Quake died from? Have you heard of any mishaps with the puppies they produced?

I would say over 90% of thier dogs are non-functional. I saw thier yard video and it looked to me that most of their dogs had a hard enough time just breathing. ChubLow is definately the best example of a genetic disaster but they didn't even have that dog when they made the yard video. Pigi is another example of a breeding gone wrong. They breed exclusively for faults as they think it makes the dog more appealing. Any time you breed for exaggerated traits...you are going to see genetic health issues arise. I have seen pups they sell for over $1500 and they were deaf!!! That's on the low side for them. I noticed a drop in prices here during our economy crisis but they still charge waaaaay to much for these designer mutts. I could go on and on about the lack of quality I see but people still buy thier mutants at inflatable rates, so what do I know?

    Default This is crap!

I 've watched you all take apart a kennel before that I knew nothing about. But I have to step up & say that Kim Taylor deserves better. We 've done business with her & have no complaints, it's been awhile, but she's stand up. She heard our female's dam wasn't being treated well & purchased her back.
She had a short lil bully at the bully show last month in Birmingham & won the pup division with that lil' bully against an awesome array of bullies!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen this pack mentality in the yard & didn't like it there either!!!!!!!!!!

Just like with Mugleston's, there will be a few good things said about thier kennel. I wasn't just blurting out something I heard elsewhere, I spoke with them several times and had a pup on reserve from them. It was a $600 dollar lesson but better than the loss I would have taken had I purchased that puppy.

I really like this section of the board, it's like a consumer review. I like to get all the facts before making a big purchase, myself. If I can keep one person from making a $3500 mistake.....then it was worth it. There are too many of these kennels out here getting fat pockets off of naive buyers. They ride the APBT name like there's no tomorrow but are quick to tell you that their dogs aren't bred to be aggressive like gamebreds, that 24" head and 100 lb ass is the "real deal".

Kim Taylor directly said to me that her dogs are luxury pets. Does she not say "striving to bring you the best in American Pitbull Terriers" on her site? Last I checked DA was common in an APBT breeding program, hence the name PIT bull....which suggests only one thing, the []. Why would you want to associate an American Bully with a pit dog? Wasn't Dave Wilson's goal, to produce an atheletic, well structured dog that lacked gameness? Basically a AST with alittle added weight but with a less passive demeanor.

I know Ultimateblues isn't the only kennel that misleads the public but she's the only one I ever dealt with, so I spoke my opinion of her and her practices. I'm not even going to get started on her dogs themselves, they can't help that they were bred for the very faults that make them freakishly appealing to the general public.

    ok.. that is YOUR review..

How bout the male they sent my boy with ONE NUT, and REFUSED to make good on it? Is that stand up?

How bout the OBSCENE amount of litters they have a year? Right now alone they have 5 litters they are selling out of.. 5 breedings listed on their breeding page. And that is just RIGHT NOW.. they have a constant 4-5 litters on the ground at ALL TIMES..

Not to mention they have 40+ ADULT dogs... I don't know how many dogs you have ever cared for at one time, but 40 fucking dogs? Are you kidding me? lol Unless they have a full staff helping out, i dont know how the hell 40 dogs can get the proper attention, and care.. 40 adults, and probably 30-50 pups.....

Does that seem reasonable to you? From reading your other posts i thought you had good jusdgement, but if that seems legitimate to you, then i would have to question your judgment.

People can read these posts and come to their own conclusion.. It isn't a pack mentality, it is peoples opinions that just so happen to be negative for this breeder.

Damn I did not know they were up to that many adults....

Kim cant talk her way out of a paper bag..... Not to mention I inquired about a breeding they did (one of MANY) with Thing... One day her husband say $1500 so I was going to jump on it... Then she calls and said oh he told you the wrong price it was suppossed to be $5500....

I dont know about them personally other than that experience but Ive heard war stories about them
