It's bully common knowledge now that stuff was mixed in. But Remy doesn't look that short to me. And it is possible to get shorter pups with inbreeding and linebreeding. ie. Pocket bullies. The change just doesn't look that extreme to me. Now in Buckshot's case it's night and day.

| Damn this was an oldie but educated goodie..... I see where you think Sippen Remy is a bulldog... But remember Staffies are shorter and more compact so the bulldog may be a staffy...lol there are so many stories of this and that and bla bla bla... we as an outside circle will never know. The only ones that will really know are people of the likes of Dave Wilson (creator of RE and now ABKC lol) Shawn True Tank, Pam Carter (Gaff Ive heard some mixing stories there) Richard Barajas (GL) and the og's for the GK style dogs.... If your just now into these dogs in the past 2-5 years you wont know. I got into the bullies about 4 years back and Im still learning and researching this dirty style of breed. The funny thing is people call it select breeding bla bla bla but when we did a bulldog to a pit and got the result I sat back, posted and laughed when people thought she was off who I said she was off... She passed away and I came out and said what she REALLY was and people act like no big deal.... Like I said there are a TON of secrets in this breed, we need to focus on our dogs we all have and not worry so much about what other did in the past... And by the way pit to a direct bulldog...... results were AWESOME

Knowing why a certain look was created from a certain breeding. Or why a certain strain throws this, or where the kinks, bite issues, lack of angulation, and other issues are coming from. For a lot of breeders that are just breeding to produce freaks with no care whether they will be clean or even close to an ABKC or UKC standard, then the secrets don't really matter...
