Help!!! Looking for a descent breeder, can't find one!

Hello, I have been looking to get an American Bully in a few weeks, and I've seen hundreds of kennel websites in the past few months and visited a few in person. I've never owned a pit, but just about every other bully breed. It appears nobody does health testing except like one kennel (ruckus kennel). I live in so cal, and would like a pocket or medium size bully, (not XXL) any color, ped, ribbons, doesn't matter as long as theyre healthy (by healthy I mean big time genetic disorders like hip dysplasia, luxating patella, ect...), I know pits are generally healthy, but I've had lots of bad luck in the past. ....I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions for a reputable breeder in so cal!!!!! THANKS!!!! ....by the way I want the dog as a PET and would NOT be interested in breeding!!.

I'm located in San Diego, and honestly I'm not that picky as long as it's not those 130 lb 27 in head huge dogs, theyre great, just not for me at the moment. I prefer dogs on the shorter side like 21/20 in and below ...Thank you fpr your help!!

Well, search around on this site for dogs you like that are available. There a few breeders on here. Check the signatures for website links.



Are you looking for a pup, juvenile, or adult? Does it matter to you?

There are a lot of good breeders of AmBullys but you are right, none that health test, and Ruckus doesn't breed Razors Edge anymore. Post up your email I'll send you what info I have

Most people do not health test. Pratts Pits is in So. Cal and he is a great breeder/person! Has some beautiful dogs.

We will be health testing all of our females very soon but it is hard to find stud owners who health test.

the show is a good place to start, talk to some breeders and feel them out, its a big decision man, like buyin a used car....be careful what u get and from who.....

shoot i sometimes wish i was in California........nice weather year round, bully activities year round.....man.........it should be easy for you to find bully's.
