My mentor who is WHITE comes from a family of 5, no father, mom on disability, and his mother was pulling in 12k a YEAR to support her family. He wanted to go to school, work as a gas station attendant in jerzz, security guard, a dorm RA and went to school full time think about those hours. Found an amazing opporunity, worked it like his life depended on it which it really did and by his senior year in college was out earning all of his professors. At 23 bought his mother a house! now hes 27 and has a 6 figure a month income and is one of the most caring, genuine, loving people i have ever met and had the pleasure of helping me build my business.

I have a BLACK friend who is my BEST FRIEND had a similar situation. Grew up in a not so great neighborhood, and mom is clinically insane so shes on disability. When we got out of high school he ended up going to philly art school he wanted out of our city and cant say i blame him. While in philly working and going to school full time he was introduced to the same opportunity as my mentor. He saw a chance to make something amazing of himself, he was hungry, took the chance and ran with it. Fast foward to 3 years later at the age of 21 is in position to earn up to 7k a month, has a house in philly, and helps people every single day to make something of there lifes.

The reason i tell these stories is because i feel race has nothing to do with it and i hate when people throw the race card out. If you have the will, if your hungry, if your determined you will make it. Law of attraction you attract everything into your life.

In my eyes what Vick did to those dogs was 110% wrong and there is no justifying that. the way i think of it is i trust my dogs more than i trust 90% of my friends. I love them with all my heart and i know they love me. Theres a bond i bet alot of us cant explain. Micheal Vick robbed those dogs of ever being able to feel that. Imaging if just one of those dogs instead of fighting went to a good home where would they be today? maybe putting a smile on someone man, woman, or childrens face.

Why is there a lack of education in the "ghetto"?

Funny my highschool was comprised of kids where allot lived in the absolute ghetto, some in the suburbs, and some dirt poor in the "woods".. They all had access to the same exact education. Some made more of it then others. Each individual chose their own path, be it the wealthy kids who got into drugs, or the poor kids who went off to college, and became successful. So who's fault would it be if certain people decided not to take what they were GIVEN, and run with it?

People CHOOSE to rob, fight dogs, sell drugs, etc. People could just as easily go to school, hit the books, and make something of themselves.

My school was always that way.. It was one of the biggest schools in NY.. It was right in the middle of the suburbs, and hood.

There was innercity schools, that was nothing but ghetto kids(all races), and they got the same education we got. They were held to the same testing standards we were. I know kids from there, that went on to college, and become successful.. They took their education seriously, while some kids didn't give a fuck, and were out on the block..
