Many people think that just because you have a pitbull, they are "Dogmen". Wrong answer!! A true Dogman will know how many times a female will come into heat per year. A true Dogman will know how many puppies are generated based on the number of times a Bitch and Stud lockup. A true Dogman knows exactly when a bitch is going to drop puppies based on what her rectal temperature may be. A true Dogman cares for their pitbull and understands the capabilities and qualities of the breed and try their best to not put them in situations where they have to either go into "Fight or Flight" mode. Now, what is not a Dogman. Someone who owns a pitbull and doesnt know shit about the breed or when you ask them what bloodline it is they say,"It's a rednose or Blue Pit". That's not a bloodline idiots. A Dogman is not somebody who owns a pitbull but doesnt have papers or they know the bloodline but can't tell you shit about their ancestors. A Dogman is not someone who feeds their dog Walmart Brand Dog food and then sits at the table and eats steak and potatoes. A Dogman is not someone who has never done a breeding in their entire life but consider themselves Dogmen because they have owned one or two pitbulls their entire life. A true Dogman doesn't put their dogs in the backyard and say, I have a pitbull" but then expect this same dog to defend you and the ones close to you in a time of need. Let's sit back for a minute folks and really understand what you have in your hands. Treat your dogs as you would treat your own children. Give your dog the same respect that you require them to give you. Remember, a dog only doesnt bite you because they choose not to. Don't get it twisted. These dogs will lay down their life for you. Just do the research on some of the most famous dogs in history and look what they have done. Once again, these dogs will lay down their life for you. Would you lay yours down for them? If not, then yea, you are what we call a dog owner because a true DOGMAN would!!! This is just some food for thought peoples.
