Default To all members...Big Rob tribute.

I would like to ask all members who came to know Big Rob through this board, weather it be in person, or just in posts, to say a few words about the type of person you knew him to be, and what he meant to you. It can be however long, or short you want.

I would then like for DL to print out all of our comments, and send them to Rob's family, so they know what he meant to us, and what a great person he was.. He was part of our DOG FAMILY, and will be missed by everyone he came in contact with.

Lets keep this thread clean, and directed solely at remembering, our fallen brother Rob.

    Thanks for your support everyone.

I haven't been on much lately. But, just thought I'd stop by and pay tribute to a great guy.

Big Rob deserves the upmost respect!

The man had the best sense of humor and to me always tried to enlighten the mood. He was a stand up guy to the fullest.

One example.... There was some drama on the boards and his homies were involved. Most people whould side with his homies even though they were wrong. He didnt see it that way... He stood up for what he thought was right and risked losing these well known guys as friends. You have to respect a man for doing that!!!!

Even though we never talked on the phone or met in person he would frequently tell me whenever I am down his way to stop by to have a few beers and he would hook me up with his neighbor....lol.

He just had that special bond with people right away. He was a person you would instantly like to be friends with and to have in your life!

Big Robb was a major loss to all of us!!!!

R.I.P. my friend!!! We will all see you in time!!!

Never got to meet you in person homie. But you were one of the realest dogmen ever. You are one of the few people that truly just love the dogs. It came through so true in every post, whether you were having fun, or getting down right serious! You'll be sorely missed homie.

Sorry to hear that you're gone, man. Especially since it's before I met you in person. You kept it real, fought BSL, and let everyone know where you stood. That's a stand up guy in my opinion. You'll be missed, man. May God comfort your family, friends, dogs, and other loved ones...

    Big Robb,
I saw you post here, I saw you post there
    I read your thoughts because
you're honest, straight forward and always prepared

A heavenly light is now what you know to be true
To whom I know a person who will always be lookin out for you

May it be just an afternoon with the dogs
or beaches and a bright blue sky
Your heaven is there for you now
and your memories with us will never die

I may have only known you
    through our Club Bully Board
    But your presence was great
    and was never ever ignored

    Butthead, Edge, or Gotty
    we both loved the breed
Some own them for the wrong reasons
but we DID NOT HAVE THEM FOR THE GREED!!

When it comes to the dogs we love so much,
    most just make a brand
    Some just don't get it,
    some just don't understand
For this I share in common with you Big Robb
and for that is just one more reason that I'll always make a stand!

God Bless you and your family Big Robb! R.I.P.

    R.I.P. BigRob

I can remember seeing his avatar/picture on here and thinking who the hell is this old white dude with a pitbull. lol. To this day I dont know who the hell that guy is in the picture he always used on here but my guess is that its some legendary dog man that Rob identified with.

Later on Id learn that he was a Mexican dude from LA who loved pitbulls as much as any one of us if not more. I'd learn that he was a go lucky guy who always put out positive messages through his cool laid back sense of humor. He didn't step on any toes to make this bully community a better place. His approach was more intellegent and thats something I appreciate about him.

If I knew anything about his interest in life Id say that he was happy BBQ'n, Drinkin' a beer, and chillen with his dog. Thats pretty much is what this dog community is about in some sense. We all get together and BBQ, Drink beers, and enjoy our dogs. So in that sense he was one of us. He was a leader in this community. A person that everyone appreciated and could look up to.

We definitely lossed a pillar in this community. Someone who can never be replaced. But I believe he moved on to a better place. I pray to the Lord his soul rests in peace.

    Big Rob,
if you're up there reading this. Save me a cold one and a plate homie. R. I. P.

I've only spoke to you on a few occasions but you always kept it real. You were one of the few dog men left who loved this breed. It's amazing how one man can bring so many people together. If I leave this world with half the love respect and admiration you have I would be honored.

First and formost to the ones left to greive,

My heart and prayers go out to you all in this time of sadness. I hope the lord is quick to ease the pain of your loss. May the angels watch over each and everyone of you. And may the lord meet Rob at the gates of heaven.

I've met rob through clubbully. He was always eager to make you smile. He would post threads with jokes,or sometimes for know reason at all saying somthing like he was bored, or he had a minute inbetween checking on somthing he may have had in the smoker. I actually remember seeing him with a picture of a really great piece of pork being smoked. I actually thought it looked so good i asked for the recipe. I even went out and bought a custom made grill just so i can start cooking like him. i havent stepped up to the whole roast yet but i think i got the ribs down.

He was always willing to answer questions when it came to dogs, if he knew he'd tell you if he didnt he wouldn't fake like he did. I remember a post he did showing off one of his dogs and he laughed saying the dogs chest was nowhere near the size it looked. He was honest, any other breeder would have ran with that picture and lied about how his dog looked, but ROB wasnt that kind of guy.

When he would see two of his friends arguing, he was quick to crack a joke, trying not to get into and also defuse the situation. He has always been cool to most anyone he came across, unless that person was just being and overwhelming jerk, then it was like damn you must be bad if Rob has to holler at you.

I never met him in person or talked to him on the phone,I have though had tons of chats with him in threads, as well as clubbuly's chat room, he makes an impact when he says things, he makes you think, he makes you look at things differently. He makes young ones like myself listen.

Again to his close family and friends, may the lord watch over you all in this time of sorrow, you'll be in my family's prayers

    To my dude 'RUGGED ROB'

BE EASY BIG HOMIE, YOUR WHERE NO AMOUNT OF MONEY CAN GET US.

When I first came on the boards and would voice my opinion -
Right or wrong, I'd get blasted by those that felt i was too new to
have an opinion. Rob wasn't havin that shit. He could see that I was
like him(about the dogs) and defended me even without us
    knowing each other at all.
That was the beginning of a friendship that I will never forget.

ROb always and I mean ALWAYS Stood up for what he believed in.
NEVER COMPROMISED HIMSELF TO FIT IN.
I respect that SO VERY MUCH as its an extremely rare thing to see these days.

He never had anything bad to say about anyone.

He and I related on so many levels and we had this mutual respect
for each other that I cant even put into words.

    I feel like I lost a brother.

One of the greatest human beings I have EVER MET.

    MAN WAS ROB FUNNY TOO.

When I was in a bad mood - I'd go on cb or greyline and he was always
there. We'd always get a laugh over whatever it was we discussed.
Cuz thats how he looked at life. He enjoyed it to the fullest.

WIth a VERY HEAVY HEART I say.....

I LOVE YOU BROTHER ROB....and YOU WIll BE REMEMBERED BY
    ME FOREVER.

    REst well my friend

I am still fairly new here. But I knew Big Rob from his comedic replies and remarks. He had that little bit of drama-mixed with a seriousness FOR the pitbull breed. It is a shame to lose someone that was such a big part of the family- of the breed. I send prayers of God Speed to the family to help them recover from their loss as much as possible. Big Rob will be missed here at Club Bully by the members, and the dogs! But, he is in a better place now, probably hanging with the bullys, and watching down on us!

    God Bless-Pitchik.

Big Robb, I meet you once at the dog show in CA and ever since then I have looked up to you and admired you because you were the funniest kindest hearted and down to earth man I meet, saw or knew in this bully family (not to mention LOVED YOUR boy blue bear and I know I said this before but he was the only dog there that impressed me). Your touch will be missed by many; your spirit will live on forever through us all. One of the best people I meet here on these boards and one of the very few that were hear for the dogs, Rob man you were one of truest guys out there. Respected by me and never forgotten.
Rob you were there to always brighten someone’s day up. You had an awesome view on life and the best attitude. Let alone the knowledge of a museum and the opinion that made sense and had logic.
There isn’t much I can express through these words but my deepest felt of sorrow and grief are felt. Good luck buddy and I miss you friend
    Love Britney and the boys….

I want to thank the family for sharing Rob with us all. He was one of a kind. I have never met such a caring, compassionate, fun loving person in my entire life. He just didnt care about the dogs, he also made sure you were doing good as well. No matter how many mistakes one made, he was always there to embrace you and help you fix them. Even though you can not physically be here with us, you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. I will always have a special place for you in my heart. You are truely loved! As you are up in heaven watching over all of us right now, we are all looking up to you.

    Much Love

    Bigg Robb,

I will mis you brother. You have taught so many things, I dont know where to start. You have always told me that who cares what people think of your dogs. That doesnt matter, it only matters that you care for your dog and love them and do them good. I always loved it when you preached loyalty. And how we all needed to be loyal to our dogs. You have taught us so many things and that I am grateful to have come across a person like yourself. Thank you for everything. May you RIP bro, one day we will meet.

Big Rob to me was a very down to earth, and humble guy. He seemed to appreciate everything. I never heard Rob complain about anything.

He was someone who i had an unbelievable amount of respect for. Someone who, when he talked, i would listen. I looked up to Rob in many ways.

Rob had a one of a kind sense of humor. He always had a way of cracking jokes, that would lighten the mood. No matter how down anyone was, or how serious, or tense the situation, one of his jokes would have everyone laughing together.

He was a man who put his dogs first, and truly loved these animals. He was not out for a paycheck, or to be some big name breeder. It shows that you don't have to be a sell out, or puppy miller, to be well respected in the dog world. You just need to have an undying passion for these dogs, and put them first and foremost.

Rob was the voice of reason. When there was drama, and arguing on the boards, friend or not, when you were wrong, he would tell you. He was always fair, and did what he felt was the right thing.

He was a big part of our family here on Club Bully. He was like the Big Brother , and looked out for us time after time. Rob stepped up to bat for us, on many occasions.

We all looked up to, and respected him. I just hope he knew what he meant to all of us. He will be greatly missed around here.

Rob, i want to thank you for everything. I am grateful to have gotten the chance to know you, even if it was only though the boards. You have taught me more then you will ever know. I will never forget ya.

    R.I.P Big Rob.

Rob was a true dogman, not about litter after litter and making $$ off of his dogs. He will be missed greatly by everyone who came to know him. I always got a good laugh at his jokes, never one to be shy about things! He loved his dogs so much and you could see it, he love the Butthead line and was all about educating people about it, and the breed of pitbulls in general.

I really will miss seeing him around this place, I always enjoyed reading his view on IMPORTANT subjects and not just some post trying to sell puppies. And when things would get a little tense around here you could always count on Rob to lighten it up alittle with some crazy comment!!

Thanks Big Rob for all you shared with us, I will always remember that you showed us it was important to be real and honest with yourself and others. RIP
